How to Play Plinko

1

Choose Risk Level

Select low, medium, or high risk. This determines the multiplier distribution at the bottom — higher risk means bigger potential wins but more frequent low payouts.

2

Set Row Count

Pick between 8 and 16 rows. More rows increase variance — the ball has more chances to bounce toward extreme multipliers on either end.

3

Place Your Bet

Enter your bet amount. You can drop one ball at a time or use auto-bet to drop multiple balls in quick succession.

4

Watch the Ball Drop

The ball bounces through the pegs and lands in a multiplier slot. Your payout is your bet multiplied by that slot value.

How It Works

Plinko simulates a physical Galton board. Each peg gives the ball a 50/50 chance of bouncing left or right. After passing through all rows, the ball lands in one of the bottom slots, each assigned a multiplier. The resulting distribution follows a binomial pattern — the center slots are most likely, with probabilities decreasing toward the edges.

There are four risk levels: Low, Medium, High, and Expert. Risk level shifts the multiplier values assigned to each slot. Low risk compresses the range (e.g., 0.5x to 5.6x), while Expert risk widens it dramatically (e.g., 0x to 10,000x). The expected value remains constant at 99% regardless of settings — only the variance changes.

Strategy Tips

Strategy

Low risk with 8 rows provides the most consistent returns with smaller multipliers. High risk with 16 rows offers massive potential payouts but most drops will land on low multipliers. Medium risk with 12-14 rows is a balanced approach for most players.

Low Risk for Grinding

Low risk with 8 rows gives the most consistent returns. Most drops land between 0.5x-1.5x with occasional 5x+ hits. Great for slow, steady bankroll growth.

High Risk + 16 Rows for Moon Shots

High risk with 16 rows gives access to the 1,000x multiplier, while Expert risk pushes it to 10,000x. Most balls land on 0x-0.2x. Only viable with a large bankroll that can absorb many consecutive losses.

Medium Risk Is the Sweet Spot

Medium risk with 12-14 rows balances excitement with sustainability. Multipliers range from 0.3x to ~130x, giving regular small wins with occasional big payouts.

Use Auto-Bet for Volume

Auto-bet drops balls rapidly, which smooths out variance over many rounds. Set a loss limit and a number of bets before starting to maintain discipline.

Bankroll Management

With Plinko, your bet sizing depends on your risk level. For low risk, you can bet up to 2-3% of your bankroll per drop since variance is contained. For high risk with 16 rows, drop that to 0.5% or less per bet — you may see 20+ consecutive drops with 0x payouts. Always set a session loss limit of 20% of your starting bankroll.
